Artificial Bliss Recordings aims to bring you the most innovative and new electronic and alternative music from all over the word. Ignoring trend, cultural zeigeist, the superficial music 'biz' and mass media influence, Artificial Bliss is truly underground, and truly independent.

Artificial Bliss Recordings Limited were established in the winter of 2005 by Simon Curry, Chris Curry and Carl Mitchell.

Simon and Chris Curry started out as the electronic music duo Chokai in 2001, and were signed to the 3Bass label in 2003 releasing one album and appearing on various online music compilations. Simon also worked as an unsigned music reviwer and webmaster for petromusic.net as well as working with many other electronic music producers on remixes and collaborations from all over the globe.

Carl Mitchell began his life in music from a young age, DJing Drum n Bass at local venues and clubs, promoting and producing for unsigned acts as well as working as various guises such as Junction Eleven (ambient), The Real (Drum n Bass) and Josephs Perception (Drum n Bass). Carl has since setting up Artifical Bliss Recordings set up our sister label, Burning Plastic Recordings, specializing in upfront and cutting edge DnB acts.

Artificial Bliss started out as a small netlabel with a roster of 8 artists, each extraordinarilly innovative across a wide range of electronic music genres. Over the years Artificial Bliss has grown to be an established and well respected label with over 40 releases from 18 different artists and bands, and has extended its digital distribution to over 35 different online digital download retailers.
